Wee Care Day Care & Preschool is currently hiring a cook for our Child Care Center.

Primary duties:

• Cleaning dishes from breakfast
• Preparing lunch
• Putting away food/supplies once per week when delivered by our vendor
• Prepping snacks
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen area
• Following all USDA, licensing, and center requirements to ensure health and safety procedures are followed
• Paying attention to detail and making accommodations for food-related intolerances/allergies
• Providing warm interactions with children and staff while in and out of all classrooms

This cook is required to complete Child Care Basics and work in a Center Assistant role as well. 

Hours typically start at 40 per week from 6:30am-3:30pm

Hourly rate of pay: $18.50 with increases after 90 days

Qualifications include:
Food Handler Permit
TB test
1st Aid/CPR
HIV/AIDS & Bloodborne Pathogens Training
