Meet the Director
Jeanette Thomas
Aloha,
My name is Jeanette, and I am the Director of Wee Care Day Care at the 28th location. My journey with Wee Care started in July of 2014 as the Pre-K lead teacher. In 2020, I became the director. The best part of my job is getting to know the whole family. I believe by working together we can help your child grow and develop in all the stages of their lives. By having the experience in and outside of the classroom, I can better support the teachers and children in our care. I have my associate’s degree in early childhood education.
I was born and raised in Hawaii (The big Island). I am a mother of two, Auntie to many and known as “Kumu” (teacher). I have been in childcare for over twenty plus years, ten of those as a Family Child Care Provider serving active military families in Alaska, California, Missouri, Washington & Utah, and thirteen years in a center-based setting. I enjoy being outdoors, gardening, and the sun is my source of energy.
